In any cleanroom, it is important for wipes to effectively remove spills without leaving material residuals, like lint, or chemical residue, often called extractables. A sorbent is a type of material that absorbs or adsorbs gases or liquids. In most cases, wipes are used in cleanrooms to clean up fluid spills, which makes absorbency incredibly important. You need a wipe that will properly clean a hard surface without leaving any residue or generating extractables or lint particles.
