There is a right and a wrong way to install a sticky mat.

Many people have complained that their sticky mats aren't sticking to the floor properly, and that is a clear indication that they weren't installed correctly. That is why we gave you the first couple of steps for installing a sticky mat in our previous blog. Today, we will be giving you the last couple steps to properly install a sticky mat:

Step #3. Prepare the area.

Before you install your sticky mat, you will need to ensure that the area is fully prepared. Make sure to remove any and all dirt, film or debris from the surface, and finish up by cleaning with a mop or a wipe. After it is thoroughly cleaned, give the area time to dry completely before you start installing your sticky mat.

Step #4. Install your sticky mat.

The first thing you will need to do to install your sticky mat is to remove the protective sheet on the bottom. Keep in mind that you shouldn't remove the top protective sheet at this time. Place two corners on your sticky mat on the floor as you keep a slight bend in the mat so that it doesn't touch the floor. Once your mat is positioned to your liking, start pressing firmly from the two corners all the way across the mat. Remove all bubbles as you go and step on the mat to ensure that it is secure. Once your mat is installed, simply remove the top protective sheet and then it will be ready to use.
